With the price of digital SLR camera’s getting lower, the number of people owning one is getting higher. Sadly, the number of owners who know how to use their camera’s (Auto mode does not count!) is low. The difference between a good photograph and a great one is the great ones are MADE not just taken. There is a whole world of amazing photographs, just waiting for you to know enough to be able to capture.
Private and group photography lessons are available. Lessons are designed with your goals in mind. Rates for private lessons are as follows (take it with a friend for 1/2 off!!) -
Advanced Photography -
(2) Two hour long classes, $250 per person. Topics covered include – camera care and maintenance, camera set up (knowing your camera), exposure, basic composition, natural lighting, basic external flash lighting, introduction to editing software of your choice – photoshop or lightroom, understanding the basics of printing your photos. Hands on session with critique of photos taken. Homework is included to practice and begin to master skills learned. Critique of assignments is given and phone or email support is included.
Photography 101
Two hour long class, $150 per person. Topics include – camera care and maintenance, camera set up (knowing your camera), exposure (shutter speed, aperture, ISO), basic composition, natural lighting and basic flash photography. Homework is included to practice and begin to master skills learned.
